Sanyog

Sanyog is a multilingual (English, Hindi and Bengali) augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) system. It has the facility to construct simple sentences by selection of icons. Individuals can form their own content on theme based icon libraries.

Sanyog has been patented as "SYSTEM FOR AN INTUITIVE, CUSTOMIZABLE, MULTILINGUAL AND RECONFIGURABLE AUGMENTATIVE COMMUNICATION " in accordance with the provisions of the Patents Act, 1970.

 

E-Sagu

E-Sagu is an IT based personalized agricultural advisory system. It delivers high quality expert agro device in a timely manner at the farmer's doorstep. It has been recognized as one of the worldwide latest novel Internet applications in "Innovative application Case Study 2006" of Institute for Information Industry, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan.

Complete patent specification is filed regarding e-Sagu project under the title "A method for onsite analysis". The applicants are IIIT - H, Hyderabad and Media Lab Asia.

A PCT application is filed on eSagu to get a patent in other countries.

 

Centre of Excellence in Wireless Technology (CEWiT)

The Centre of Excellence in wireless technology (CEWiT) was set up as a public private partnership between Department of Information Technology, Government of India, and Indian industry with the aim of making India a leader in wireless technology. CEWiT will focus mainly on the wireless technology issues relevant to India.

The patent application has been filed under three titles. The details are as follows:

a) A patent application has been filed under the title "A Broadband Wireless Communication System".

b) A patent application has been filed under the title "Multi-Antenna Cellular Broadband Wireless Communication Systems with Interference Mitigation based on Compressed Channel State Information Feedback".

c) A patent application has been filed under the title "A Method of Spatial Multiplexing for High Data Rate Wireless Communication".

 

NAVA-VAANI

NAVA-VAANI is a portable computing device that have simple navigation mechanism to serve individuals with cerebral palsy. It has facility to store and play a large number of audio messages partitioned in to different contexts. Each audio messages is associated with corresponding captured image. The portable hand held device has Graphic LCD Display, Message Navigation & Play Buttons and suitable Indicators and is easy to operate. User can display images and play audio on device in desired order. The device can be connected to personal computer and can be customized using Graphical User Interface (GUI) developed. Using GUI different user profiles can be created and updated; files can be copied to the handheld unit; files loaded previously in the handheld unit can be read/altered. The display of device is partitioned in two sections; left section shows symbolic representation of the context in which the device is being used; the right section displays the Message that will be played, if the Play Button is pressed.


Patent has been filed for NAVA-VAANI.
